Product Other Information

Synthesis Method 6-Nitroquinoxaline can be synthesized in a two-step process. The first step involves the condensation of o-nitroaniline with ethyl acetoacetate in the presence of an acid catalyst to form the intermediate 2-methyl-6-nitroquinoxaline. This intermediate can then be reduced with sodium borohydride to yield 6-nitroquinoxaline.
